An opportunity to invest in the future
Armenia became the first nation in the world to adopt Christianity as its state religion, traditionally dated to 301 AD. This pivotal event occurred under King Tiridates III, who was converted by St. Gregory the Illuminator, who then became the first head of the independent Armenian Church. This church, known as the Armenian Apostolic Church, is a member of the Oriental Orthodox communion and has been Essential in shaping the nation's culture, including the invention of the Armenian alphabet in the 5th century to translate the Bible and liturgy, thereby creating a distinct Christian heritage that has helped preserve the Armenian people through centuries of foreign domination and adversity.
The Armenian Training Center will be used as a place to train and equip house church leaders from several closed countries in the region. Providing a safe place for them to receive rest, refreshment, and resources to take back to their homes and further teach and equip their local body.
